Laura Linney

Laura Leggett Linney (born February 5, 1964) is an American actress from America. Linney is the winner of many awards, including two Golden Globe Awards and four Primetime Emmy Awards, and was nominated for 3 Academy Awards and five Tony Awards. Linney's Broadway debut was in 1990. She has received Tony Award nods for her Broadway revivals The Crucible (2002), Sight Unseen (2004, Time Stands Still in 2010), The Little Foxes revival (2017), My Name Is Lucy Barton (2021) as well as The Little Foxes revival (2017). In 2001, Linney received the first Emmy Award she ever received for her television film Wild Iris. Other wins follow for the television sitcom Frasier from 2003-2004 and for miniature-series John Adams in 2008. From 2010 to 2013 she was a part of the Showtime show The Big C, which was awarded her the fourth Emmy in 2013. Then, from 2017 until 2022, she played in the Netflix Crime series Ozark.
