Pop Smoke was signed by Victor Victor Worldwide and Republic Records. Pop Smoke was a household name due to his Brooklyn drill style after working with UK drill producers 808Melo Axl Beats, Yoz Beatz, and 808Melo Axl Beats. Welcome to the Party was the first single from his debut mixtape Meet the Woo, which was released in July of 2019. The song was remixed by American rapper Nicki Minaj as well as British musician Skepta. Both were released in August of 2019. In April of 2019 Pop Smoke released his breakout single Welcome to the Party the first single from the mixtape he released as his debut album, Meet the Woo (2019). In August 2019, the song was remixed a second time, first with Nicki Minaj featuring and another with Skepta. It was revealed that the track used UK drill-produced music, and would later be seen throughout his discography. It is due to the frequent collaborations with British drill maker 808Melo. Mpr Flexin and Dior are two of his popular tracks. He collaborated on other hit singles after the huge success of Welcome to the Party. These include: War, featuring Lil Tjay, and 100k in a coupe, featuring Calboy. Gatti is the last track in the JackBoys album (2019) featuring Scott as well as Cactus Jack's band members as well as JackBoys released in the month of December of this year.
